As we continue to grow and serve more families across Midwest City and surrounding areas, we’re seeking a passionate, community-minded leader to step into the role of Executive Director. This part-time position plays a vital role in expanding our impact, strengthening partnerships, and helping us meet the increasing needs of those we serve.
Job Title: Executive Director (Part-Time, Stipend-Based)
Organization: Mid-Del Food Pantry
Location: Midwest City, OK
Hours: Approximately 15 hours per week to start
Compensation: $20/hour
Position Overview
The Mid-Del Food Pantry is seeking a passionate and community-driven Executive Director to lead daily operations, expand outreach efforts, and support the organization’s mission to provide food assistance to individuals and families in need.
This part-time leadership role is ideal for someone who is organized, relationship-focused, and experienced in nonprofit growth through fundraising, grant writing, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies that will broaden public recognition and deepen impact on clients
Manage the day to day operations of the pantry
Plan, direct and support new development and community outreach in coordination with board and staff
Secure financial and in-kind donations from individuals, businesses and neighborhood community including churches
Develop and maintain relationship with donors
Be the key external face of Mid-Del Food Pantry
Ensure messaging, service and branding is consistent with the mission and goals of the pantry
Ensure high standards of service and delivery in a positive and respectful atmosphere to food pantry clients
Adhere to proper and safe food handling, storage
Understand and manage the budget
Ensure all documentation and reporting is completed in an accurate and timely manner
Keep current on changes in the industry and awareness of trends.
Support the mission through assisting or leading special projects
Supervise the Assistant Director / give direction when needed to volunteers
Qualifications
Previous nonprofit, fundraising, or community outreach experience preferred
Grant writing experience strongly preferred
Proven experience in fundraising and event planning required
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Passion for serving the community and supporting those in need
